Our programming for Operadagen 2010 is nearly complete! A few highlights of this year’s festival are already on our website; more will be added each week and the complete programme of this year’s Operadagen will be online from 17 March.
A brochure for this year’s festival will be sent to your home address if your name is already on Operadagen Rotterdam’s mailing list. If you’d like to join our mailing list, do so before 10 March and we’ll mail you this year’s brochure.
Passion!
Passion is the central theme of Operadagen Rotterdam 2010. Passion in all its intrinsic beauty but also with all its contradictions and paradoxes. Passion as love and passion as compassion, passion as a source of life and passion as destruction, as desire and chastity, as intoxication and rationality. We endeavour as always to discover the very essence of passion through music and song — and through this, to reveal humanity’s innermost core.
