The first evening’s activities of Operadagen Rotterdam will take place on Friday in and around the Deliplein in Katendrecht, Rotterdam’s famed Chinatown. At the same time as the premiere of the opera walkabout Chinese Girl takes place, other productions that take the confrontation between musical style and emotion as their point of departure will also be presented throughout the evening.
